Car history: |
Car purchased new in Albuquerque, NM in mid-1961. After approximately six months it was traded in on a T-bird. Jack House purchased the car - which had 8800 miles on the odometer - from Frontier Ford in Albuquerque in Feb., 1962. As delivered new the car had a 4:11 rear axle ratio which made it unsuitable for extended highway driving. This axle was replaced with a 3:36 which was a better choice for the intended use. Car sold to Ed Sandlin in Albuquerque in late 1964 and Mr. Sandlin subsequently traded it to Quality Pontiac in Albuquerque for a new '65 GTO. Whereabouts unknown after that trade. If anyone knows the current status of this car please e-mail Jack House at jackcasa@comcast.net |
